With over 18 years of experience, Christine Lafferty joined the Lotus
Salon at The Lodge at Woodloch in the summer of 2011. She began her career in Scranton, Pennsylvania and
opened her own salon in 1995. In addition to being a salon owner, she was also a sought-after expert
educating for product lines and beauty forums throughout the United States.
In 2002, Christine relocated to Newbury Street, The Rodeo Drive of Boston, where she took her profession
to the next level in luxury and service. She perfected her extension techniques and excelled at ensuring
complete customer attentiveness and personalization. While in Boston, Christine discovered another passion
in helping cancer patients and trichotillomania sufferers. Through personal experience of family members
suffering through cancer, she took special interest in these clients that had very few options for hair care.
She learned to help clients transition in and out of wigs, giving comfort and privacy while in the salon.
Christine became a well-known authority on the matter and offered her expertise on hair and wigs to the author of Living
Through Breast Cancer by Carolyn M. Kaelin, M.D., M.P.H. She has also been a guest speaker on the
subject at the Trichotillomania Conference in Boston.
Now as the Master Stylist at the Lotus Salon at The Lodge at Woodloch, Christine has been trained to create clean, classic, tailored looks for clients. She
specializes in custom coloring and styling, as well as being a Great Lengths Certified Hair Extension specialist. Christine
has received advanced training from many well known masters in the field of hair artistry. She has attended
Vidal Sassoon Academy, Toni & Guy, Minardi Beauty Focus, and Wella Color Certification, just to name a few.
Christine continues yearly training and workshops so she
can offer the latest styles and looks to her clientele.
